What Is a TeleVisit?
With the increasing importance of minimizing in-person contact, Dr. Sindhu Abraham is proud to offer TeleVisit appointments for both new and existing patients. These secure and convenient online visits make it easy to continue your care safely and effectively, subject to insurance plan approval.
TeleVisits are secure virtual appointments that allow you to meet with Dr. Abraham via video and audio connection—using either your smartphone or computer. You’ll receive the same level of personal care, attention, and guidance as during an in-office visit, all from the safety and comfort of your own home.
How to Join Your TeleVisit
Before your scheduled appointment, you’ll receive a text message or email link from Dr. Abraham’s office.
Dr. Abraham will text you a final link before your appointment begins. Click it, allow camera and microphone access, and your secure video session will start.
If using a computer, you can copy and paste the link into your browser.
- Click the link provided to confirm your appointment.
- Run the test option to ensure your camera and microphone are working.
- Prepare your space. Choose a quiet, private area. Ensure a stable WiFi/internet connection. Set your phone to Do Not Disturb mode.
- Have your medications ready, including dosage and supplements for review.
TeleVisit Platforms Used
Dr. Abraham primarily uses the Doximity Dialer for TeleVisits. If technical issues arise, the DOXY.ME platform may be used as an alternative.
If you receive a link to Doxy.Me, You can enter a virtual waiting room just before your appointment time.
After Your Appointment
Once your TeleVisit is complete, the session will automatically disconnect. Any follow-up instructions or prescriptions will be handled as discussed during your call.
